In-Home Services

Tax Credit Assistance

Provided on a walk-in basis to Senior Citizens in completion of Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit form MI-1040CR, and Home Heating Credit MI-1040CR7.

“Take 5” Adult Day Care

Centers in Chippewa, Luce, Mackinac Counties, relieving caregivers to Memory Loss clients.  Contact CLM-CAA for service days and hours.  Supervision, activities, meals provided, cost sharing component.

Home Delivered Meals

Hot and nutritious meals delivered to shut-in/isolated and nutritionally at-risk seniors. This provides daily contact, Monday to Friday for reassurance of family/consumer.  Frozen meals are available for 7x week nutrition  coverage, and if  consumer is beyond delivery range.  

Emergency Shelf Staple meals 2x year, and consumer may qualify for Temporary Emergency Food Assistance  Program 4x per year if on established meal route.

Homemaking Assistance

Weekly visits (as available) to assist the physically challenged senior citizen with instrumental activities of daily living; light housekeeping, laundry, shopping/errands for consumer.

$2.50/Hour recommended donation

Personal Care Assistance

Weekly visits (as available) to assist with activities of daily living; toileting, bathing, hair/skin care, meal prep, medicine reminder, supervision.

$2.50/Hour recommended donation

Respite Care                                                

Weekly visits (as available) to relieve Primary Caregiver living with client, or identified outside of home and providing majority of client care.  Includes supervision, companionship, and assistance with activities of daily living.

Current Respite categories include Regular Respite; Tobacco Settlement funded Respite; and Family Caregiver Program Respite.

Eligibility/Age requirements differ from each; information can be provided upon assessment.

Regular Respite: $2.50/Hour recommended donation
